DESCRIPTION:Click Here to Register or RSVP\nHonoring the Heroes of September 11th Featuring First-Hand Accounts from New York’s Bravest and Finest \nThe Right Men’s Club of Collier County invites you to a powerful and moving morning as we remember the lives lost\, the heroes who responded\, and the enduring spirit of America on the 25th anniversary of the September 11th attacks. \nDate: Friday\, September 11\, 2026 Location: Naples Hilton Time: 7:30 am. \nJoin us for an unforgettable morning of remembrance and reflection with four distinguished guest speakers—retired New York first responders who were directly involved in the response and recovery efforts on 9/11. \n \nGuest Speakers \nAndre Barry Special Operations Lieutenant\, Bronx\, N.Y. 20 years of service (Jan 1982 – Mar 2002) Supervised operations in Manhattan during the 9/11 attacks. \nMike Morgillo New York Police Officer\, Transit Bureau 33 years of service (Oct 1981 – Dec 2014) Served in the Brooklyn and Times Square areas of Manhattan. \nMichael Smith NY Fire Marshal and Arson Investigator 17 years as a Fire Fighter (Jun 1985 – Jan 2002) 3 years as a Police Officer (Jan 1982 – Jun 1985) \nJimmy Rein NYPD Detective 32 years and 10 months of service (1988 – 2021) Participated in Rescue and Recovery missions during 9/11. \nThese brave men will share their personal experiences\, stories of courage\, and reflections on that fateful day. DESCRIPTION:Join Us for Our August Monthly Luncheon\nFriday\, September 11th\, 2026\n11:30 AM at the Naples Hilton\nDonna Shands\nRetired Senior Executive with the Department of Defense at the Pentagon and 9/11 Survivor\nDonna Shands is a retired Senior Executive with the Dept of Defense stationed at the Pentagon in Washington D.C. and is a survivor of the September 11 attack on the Pentagon. \nDonna worked as a civilian for the Army for 38 years\, retiring as a Senior Executive Service officer with an equivalent military rank of “Major General”. She says her 2 best assignments were 10 years in Hawaii\, and 5 years in Europe. \nUpon retiring in 2003\, she bought a home in Naples and started her own company with 2 dozen retired military employees working contracts for the Department of Defense. After teaching military budget to Army employees for more than 6 years\, she finally retired in 2018. (Maybe she realized teaching federal budget was a “fool’s errand” and decided to come to Naples for the good life.) \nOnce here in Naples full-time\, she joined the Big Cypress Chapter of the Daughters of American Revolution. Elected as the chapter Regent in 2021\, she focused working with local veterans’ organizations\, especially those helping homeless veterans. \nDonna graduated with a Master’s of Science degree from Stanford Univ. \nThe two interesting facts about Donna are \n\nShe was born in Roswell\, New Mexico 1 month before the first atomic bomb testing located less than 200 miles away and 2 years before the “UFO crash” on a farm just outside of Roswell.\nShe was in the Pentagon on 9/11\, 2001 and her experience that day is what she’s here to share with us today.\n\nWHEN: Friday\, September 11th\, 2026 11:30 AM\nWHERE: Naples Hilton\, 5111 Tamiami Trail N.\, Naples\, FL 34103\nTO PURCHASE TICKETS: https://wl.donorperfect.net/weblink/WebLink.aspx?name=E356036&id=46
