SUMMARY:RMC - Breakfast Meeting - Bob Rommel - America First Policy Institute
DESCRIPTION:Click Here to Register\nJoin Us for breakfast Friday\, June 6th\, at the Hilton Hotel to hear from The Honorable Bob Rommel\, a respected conservative leader and former Florida state representative\, is serving as executive director of the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) Florida State Chapter. \nRommel is a champion of limited government\, fiscal responsibility\, and individual liberties who spearheaded key legislative initiatives while in the legislature\, including tax cuts\, regulatory reform\, and education empowerment. \n“Bob is a proven leader who has advanced policies promoting freedom\, opportunity\, and prosperity\,” said Erika Donalds\, chair of the AFPI Florida State Chapter. “His extensive experience in both the private sector and public service makes him uniquely qualified to lead AFPI’s efforts in Florida. I have no doubt that under his leadership\, the Florida chapter will effectively champion the values that make our state a beacon for the America First movement.” \n“Florida is a model for economic freedom and limited constitutional government\,” said Rommel. “I’m honored to continue my public service with AFPI\, an organization committed to protecting the values that make Florida strong—educational freedom\, free speech\, and a thriving economy. We will continue to lead the nation in advancing the America First agenda with policies that bring prosperity to all Floridians.” \nBob Rommel Bio: \nBorn and raised in Keyport\, New Jersey\, Bob Rommel is the product of hard-working parents in a small town\, where most families struggled just to survive. SUMMARY:RWSFF - School Superintendent Dr Leslie Ricciardelli
DESCRIPTION:Dr. Leslie Ricciardelli \nSuperintendent Collier County Public Schools \n“Welcome Back to School- 2025-2026-CCPS- What is New- Where we have Been and Where we are Going! \nPlease join us for our RWSFF September 3rd luncheon meeting. Our Guest Speaker will be Dr. Leslie Ricciardelli\, Superintendent Collier County Public Schools. \nThe CCPS 20th Superintendent is dedicated to Collier County Public Schools- “My parents owned and operated a local hotel where I grew up in the family business and had the principles of excellence\, hard work\, honesty\, respect\, care\, and compassion modeled daily. These values and my childhood experiences instilled in me a desire for excellence\, to serve others\, and to make a positive impact on my community. I was inspired to pursue a career in public education and chose to return to my Collier community to raise my own family and join the district that did so much for me as a student.”- Dr. Leslie C. Ricciardelli   \nDr. Leslie Ricciardelli was selected by the CCPS School Board to serve as the Superintendent of CCPS at their May\, 2023 school board meeting. Dr. Ricciardelli was the Interim Superintendent prior to her selection and succeeded Dr. Kamela Patton who served CCPS for 12 years as the Superintendent. Dr. Ricciardelli has been employed by CCPS for over 20 years in many positions including as a Principal at Lely High School and many leadership positions at CCPS. \nDr. Ricciardelli in her past 2 years has lead a team of Chief Officers of Finance\, of Operations\, of Academics\, of Facilities\, of Staff\, of Human Resources\, and of Communications. The CCPS team has displayed fiscal acumen by aligning student achievement and finance during the budgeting process. More than 50 district level positions have been reduced resulting in redirecting resources back into the schools. Dr. Ricciardelli will share more on the CCPS Budget at our meeting. \nDr. Ricciardelli’s leadership has provided CCPS to be Fiscally and Financially sound\, and CCPS will be debt free in February 2026. This is a great tribute\, when over 20 counties in FL have a School board added tax to pay their bills and meet their budget. \nJoin us so you can get a full understanding of your Collier County School Tax dollars at work at CCPS. \nRWSFF Luncheon Meeting- Wednesday September 3\, 11:30 AM at the Hilton Naples 5111 Tamiami TR.
