But it was much more than just a Cold War stunt.  It challenged the nation to perform beyond what many believed to be impossible. It gave the nation lofty goals\, a sense of profound accomplishment and a sense of purpose even though much of it took place during a time of great upheaval and war. \nThink of what could have been had the best of our manned space efforts not fallen before the pencils of bean counters and inauthentic leadership. \nAt a time when it is obvious our adversaries plan on using space not as a venue for peaceful exploration but as the next – and final – battlefield\, only authentic and competent leadership can once again make our manned space effort the top priority it should have been all along. \nProject Mercury \n\nOutline of Mercury missions completed between 1961 – 1963.\n\nProject Gemini \n\nOutline of Gemini missions completed between 1965 – 1966.\n\nProject Apollo \n\nOutline of Apollo missions completed between 1968 – 1972.\n\n  \nJohn P. Schreitmueller\, PCC-BC \nManaging Partner  \nJohn P. Schreitmueller\, PCC-BC (Professional Certified Coach – Board Certified) founded Resolute Consulting Group\, a concierge executive coaching practice\, in 2003. He has been in practice for 32 years. \nMr. Schreitmueller earned a BA degree (1975) at Southern Connecticut State University along with a commission as a United States Marine Corps officer through the Marine Corps Platoon Leaders Class program. He commanded an infantry rifle platoon overseas and flew missions in Marine Forward Air Control (FAC) aircraft. \nFollowing military service\, Mr. Schreitmueller advanced as an executive at Texas Instruments\, Inc.\, Beech Aircraft Corporation and American Airlines’ Sky Chefs\, where he led successful multi-national ventures and acquisitions in Europe. Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. He subsequently served as an adjunct faculty member at the Cox School\, where he taught Executive Career Management within the school’s MBA and EMBA curriculums. \nMr. Schreitmueller is also a graduate (2000) of the noted Program on Leadership for Senior Executives at Harvard University\, the John F. Kennedy School of Government. \nHe holds advanced credentialing as a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF)\, and is Board Certified with specialty practice competency designations in Executive Coaching\, Leadership Coaching and Career Coaching through the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE). His practicum-oriented training spans executive behavior\, development\, career transition\, active retirement transition and divorce transition. \nMr. Schreitmueller holds an FAA Commercial Pilot’s license and has logged thousands of hours in high performance turbine aircraft.  His book\, Of Dreams and Astronauts\, a narrative on leadership and the Mercury\, Gemini and Apollo manned space programs\, won critical acclamation and the Aviation/Space Writers Association Award of Excellence for Nonfiction Journalism. \nHe is featured in print media\, on radio and television\, with guest appearances on CNN International\, XM Sixties at 6\, MSNBC\, and The NBC Evening News with Tom Brokaw.  \nMr. Schreitmueller is a member of the International Coach Federation\, The American Psychological Association\, The American Mental Health Counselors Association\, the Marine Corps Association\, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association\, the Harvard Club of Boston\, the International Churchill Society\, and he is an active polo player rated for competitive play by the United States Polo Association. DESCRIPTION:Meet the founder of Advancing American Freedom\, Michael R. Pence. Mike was born in Columbus\, Indiana on June 7\, 1959. He guided the state with a strong belief in the U.S. Constitution\, limited government\, fiscal responsibility\, economic development and educational responsibility. \nBecause of his successful career in Indiana and his strong faith-based policies\, he was selected by Donald Trump as a running mate in 2016 and together they forged a successful campaign for the White House. \nMike is affiliated with The Young America’s Foundation as Ronald Reagan Presidential Scholar. DESCRIPTION:Thomas Spoehr\,Director National DefenseHeritage Foundation \nJoin us Friday\, February 3rd as we bring Thomas Spoehr to discuss our National Defense status. He will discuss our strengths and weaknesses we face as a country. What are our greatest threats and what can we do to overcome them. \nTo Register – Click Here\nBio: \nThomas Spoehr serves as director of Heritage’s Center for National Defense where he is responsible for supervising research on matters involving U.S. national defense. \nPrior to joining Heritage\, Spoehr served for over 36 years in the U.S. Army\, attaining the rank of Lieutenant General. He is an expert on national defense policy and strategy\, and has testified before the U.S. Congress on defense strategy\, budgets and equipment modernization. Spoehr’s articles and commentary have been published widely in national media and he is often called upon to provide expert commentary and analysis. \nEarly military service included operational assignments ensuring Army and joint forces were proficient in countering weapons of mass destruction (WMD) which consist of chemical\, biological\, radiological\, and nuclear weapons. As one of the Army’s foremost uniformed experts in this area\, Spoehr served as the Commandant of the Army’s Chemical\, Biological\, Radiological and Nuclear School\, with the responsibility for the policy\, training and strategy for this critical area. In the wake of the 2015 incident involving the shipment of live anthrax spores by Defense laboratories\, Spoehr was asked by the Secretary of the Army to lead a Task Force which concluded in 2016 with the approval of a comprehensive regime of corrective actions to prevent future incidents. \nLater in his Army career\, Spoehr served in senior leadership positions in the Pentagon\, responsible for charting the Army’s future year financial plans\, developing equipment modernization strategies\, and achieving business efficiencies and reform. Analysis and recommendations conducted by Spoehr were used by the Secretary of the Army and other senior leaders to reduce or eliminate military headquarters\, reduce back-office costs\, and streamline lengthy bureaucratic processes\, saving millions of taxpayer dollars. He has published articles describing methods to make the military more efficient and effective\, and is a widely requested speaker on these topics. \nHis operational experiences include service with combat units including the 82nd Airborne Division and the 1st Armored Division. Spoehr participated in Operation Urgent Fury (the invasion of Grenada) and in 2011 served as Deputy Commanding General\, U.S. Forces Iraq in Operation New Dawn\, where he successfully oversaw the safe withdrawal of all U.S. forces and equipment from Iraq ahead of schedule\, one of the most complex and logistically intensive operations ever attempted by the U.S. military. \nHe earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the College of William and Mary\, Williamsburg\, VA\, a Masters of Arts in Public Administration from Webster University in St. Louis\, MO\, and a Master of Arts in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College\, Carlisle\, PA. \nHe and his wife\, Cynthia\, live in Alexandria\, Virginia\, where he enjoys kayaking\, home repair\, and hiking. They have two grown children\, Catherine and Peter\, who served with the 2nd Cavalry Regiment in Afghanistan\, and five grandchildren.

She was recently featured on Fox Business and hosted the Drew Steele show on 92.5 Fox radio. \nErika holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida State University and a Masters in Accountancy from Florida Atlantic University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) as well as a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). \n\nCombining her expertise and passion\, Erika Founded and is CEO of OptimaEd and The Optima Foundation a non-profit corporation that focuses on expanding access to high-quality\, virtue-based classical education options for students and their families.  Now with 6 schools in Florida cities; Estero\, Jacksonville\, Stuart and Naples. \nShe is an active member of the Collier County Republican Executive Committee and the Republican Women’s Club of Naples.  Served on the Collier County school board 2014-2018\, served on Florida’s Constitutional Revision Commission 2017-18\, is a Florida Gulf Coast University Board of Trustee and is on the advisory boards for Classical Learning Test\, Moms for Liberty and the Independent Women’s Forum Education Freedom Center. \nPrior to launching Optima\, Erika served as CFO and Partner at Dalton\, Greiner\, Hartman\, Maher & Co.\, LLC (DGHM)\, a New York-based investment firm where she served for almost 20 years. \nErika and her husband Byron have lived in Naples since 2002 and have three sons – Damon\, Darin & Mason.
