Naples\, 34103 \nRWSFF is pleased to announce our September meeting Guest Speaker will be  Admiral Jerry Johnson-United States Navy\, Retired.  Jerry is a retired four-star admiral of the United States Navy who commanded the U.S. Second Fleet\, Joint Task Force 120\, and NATO’s Striking Fleet Atlantic from 1988 to 1990. He served as Vice Chief of Naval Operations from 1990 to 1992.  His distinguished 38 year Naval Career has not stopped Jerry from staying involved both locally in the community and with the military. \nAdmiral Jerry Johnson-retired will be sharing all his hard work on the myriad of issues facing our Military today. He will not be deterred and will discuss the problems we are experiencing in the Armed Forces with CRT and woke issues. He is very concerned about our military readiness\, recruiting\, training\, and deterrence.

DESCRIPTION:Trinity Scott \nJoin us Friday\, September 9th at 7:30 am as Trinity Scott : Department Head Transportation Management Services Dept will be joining us for breakfast. \nTrinity will share the plans to fix the roadway congestions\, provide timelines and show where the next bumps in the road will happen. \nYou’ll see some very unique solutions that will leave you thinking\, wow. \nClick Here to Register\nBio \nTrinity Scott\, Department Head \nTransportation Management Services \n Department Head Trinity Scott and her staff are responsible for the Transportation Management Services Dept.  The Transportation Management Services Department includes maintenance\, municipal services taxing units\, operations\, airports\, project management and development and execution of the Capital Improvement Program.  The Department  includes five divisions:  Capital Project Planning\, Impact Fees & Program Management; Operations Support\, Public Transit & Neighborhood Enhancement; Road Maintenance; and Transportation Engineering & Construction Management.   These divisions manage a diverse portfolio of essential countywide capital projects\, including bridge replacements\, repair\, and additions\, new traffic signal installations and upgrades; right-of-way acquisitions; stormwater control structures and conveyance systems; beach erosion control and inlet management projects\, and airport capital improvements.  In addition\, the Division staff are responsible for operations and maintenance of a multitude of assets\, including operating three airports\, fixed route and paratransit bus systems\, landscape medians\, and street lighting.  Funding sources for the programs include impact fees\, gas tax\, general funds\, airport user fees\, ad valorem taxes\, and grants. \n  \nTrinity was appointed to the position of Deputy Department Head in May 2021 and appointed to Department Head in February 2022\, after serving as Transportation Planning Manager since April 2015.  While in that position her and her staff spearheaded a grant application which secured over $13M of federal discretionary Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) funding for multi-modal improvements in Immokalee. \n  \nTrinity accepted the position of Transportation Planning Manager in April 2015 after serving as the Collier Area Transit (CAT) Manager since November of 2012.  While in that position she received the 2014 Transit System of the Year Award by the Florida Public Transit Association.  Prior to that position Trinity worked in a variety of Collier County\, Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and private sector positions in the transportation field including FDOT District One Community Liaison which included coordination with six southwest Florida counties (Glades\, Hendry\, Desoto\, Charlotte\, Lee & Collier)\, Collier County Transportation Engineering Project Manager handling bicycle/pedestrian project planning\, design and construction and planning technician positions with CH2MHill\, RWA\, Inc. and Collier County Transportation Development Review. \n  \nTrinity is a Certified Public Transit Manager through the University of South Florida\, a Certified Intermodal Transportation & Logistics Manager from Florida Southwestern State College (FSW) received an Associates in Arts degree from FSW and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Management & Supervision from FSW.
