SUMMARY:RWSFF - School Superintendent Dr Leslie Ricciardelli
DESCRIPTION:Dr. Leslie Ricciardelli \nSuperintendent Collier County Public Schools \n“Welcome Back to School- 2025-2026-CCPS- What is New- Where we have Been and Where we are Going! \nPlease join us for our RWSFF September 3rd luncheon meeting. Our Guest Speaker will be Dr. Leslie Ricciardelli\, Superintendent Collier County Public Schools. \nThe CCPS 20th Superintendent is dedicated to Collier County Public Schools- “My parents owned and operated a local hotel where I grew up in the family business and had the principles of excellence\, hard work\, honesty\, respect\, care\, and compassion modeled daily. These values and my childhood experiences instilled in me a desire for excellence\, to serve others\, and to make a positive impact on my community. I was inspired to pursue a career in public education and chose to return to my Collier community to raise my own family and join the district that did so much for me as a student.”- Dr. Leslie C. Ricciardelli   \nDr. Leslie Ricciardelli was selected by the CCPS School Board to serve as the Superintendent of CCPS at their May\, 2023 school board meeting. Dr. Ricciardelli was the Interim Superintendent prior to her selection and succeeded Dr. Kamela Patton who served CCPS for 12 years as the Superintendent. Dr. Ricciardelli has been employed by CCPS for over 20 years in many positions including as a Principal at Lely High School and many leadership positions at CCPS. \nDr. Ricciardelli in her past 2 years has lead a team of Chief Officers of Finance\, of Operations\, of Academics\, of Facilities\, of Staff\, of Human Resources\, and of Communications. The CCPS team has displayed fiscal acumen by aligning student achievement and finance during the budgeting process. More than 50 district level positions have been reduced resulting in redirecting resources back into the schools. Dr. Ricciardelli will share more on the CCPS Budget at our meeting. \nDr. Ricciardelli’s leadership has provided CCPS to be Fiscally and Financially sound\, and CCPS will be debt free in February 2026. This is a great tribute\, when over 20 counties in FL have a School board added tax to pay their bills and meet their budget. \nJoin us so you can get a full understanding of your Collier County School Tax dollars at work at CCPS. \nRWSFF Luncheon Meeting- Wednesday September 3\, 11:30 AM at the Hilton Naples 5111 Tamiami TR.
