Erika Donalds is the wife of Florida Congressman, Byron Donalds. She was recently featured on Fox Business and hosted the Drew Steele show on 92.5 Fox radio.

Erika holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida State University and a Masters in Accountancy from Florida Atlantic University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) as well as a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).

Combining her expertise and passion, Erika Founded and is CEO of OptimaEd and The Optima Foundation a non-profit corporation that focuses on expanding access to high-quality, virtue-based classical education options for students and their families.  Now with 6 schools in Florida cities; Estero, Jacksonville, Stuart and Naples.

She is an active member of the Collier County Republican Executive Committee and the Republican Women’s Club of Naples.  Served on the Collier County school board 2014-2018, served on Florida’s Constitutional Revision Commission 2017-18, is a Florida Gulf Coast University Board of Trustee and is on the advisory boards for Classical Learning Test, Moms for Liberty and the Independent Women’s Forum Education Freedom Center.

Prior to launching Optima, Erika served as CFO and Partner at Dalton, Greiner, Hartman, Maher & Co., LLC (DGHM), a New York-based investment firm where she served for almost 20 years.

Erika and her husband Byron have lived in Naples since 2002 and have three sons – Damon, Darin & Mason.
