Born and raised in Keyport, New Jersey, Bob Rommel is the product of hardworking parents who instilled in him the values of dedication and respect. His diverse business career has spanned the automobile industry, mortgage lending, and restaurant ownership before turning to public service.
From 2016 to 2024, Bob served in the Florida House of Representatives, where he chaired the Commerce Committee, Civil Justice, and Regulatory Reform. Throughout his tenure, Bob was recognized as a strong advocate for economic freedom, limited government, and pro-growth policies. He is also a Fellow of The Club for Growth, a policy advisor with The Heartland Institute, and has served on the boards of Enterprise Florida and the YMCA of Marco Island.

Bob’s leadership has been recognized by the Florida Chamber of Commerce, who named him Legislator of the Year, and by Americans for Tax Reform, where he served as Florida Chair.
